Do you know what the difference between salvaging a 6% Crit Chance Mempo of Twilight and a Dark Mage's Shade is?

Let's say for instance that you now have 100 items you must choose from, and you are only allowed to keep 20 of them.

So I pick 20 of the best items I have.

So let's say I get another 100 items and I am now in the same dilemma, considering the 20 I already have, I now have to choose 20 of 120 items.

So I get rid of 10 of those items and replace them with 10 from my new item pool.

I now have 100 items to choose from again (20 of 120) and I do not see anything in my new pool of items that looks better than what I already have.

I repeat this process over and over again. Maybe on the 10th time I find one item I can replace and get rid of my weakest item of the 20.

Over time, the items I find will have a smaller and smaller chance of being better than what I've already found. I can equip and unequip them as many times as I would like and trade them away.

This is happening on a very large scale so over time, the pool of items floating around in the Auction House will almost always trump anything I could possibly find in game.
